Privacy Policy

• Contact form: your name, email, company if you add it, and your message.
• The Simmons Take: the description of what's stuck in your business. If you ask for the full read, also your email and anything optional you add, such as your company, role, team size and what you've tried.
• Newsletter: your email address, whether you sign up on this site or through a message to our Instagram or Facebook account.
• Google review check: the business name you type. If you ask for your full review list, also your email and, if you add it, your mobile number.
• Booking a call: the name, email and answers you enter in our Cal.com booking form.
• Purchases: your name, email and what you bought. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Like most websites, we collect information about how the site is used: pages viewed, how you arrived, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and on-page activity such as clicks and scrolling. Our forms also use your IP address for a short time to block spam and abuse. See "Analytics and session recordings" below for the tools involved.

We use your information to reply to you, write and send the read you asked for, email the review list you asked for and follow up about it (by text too, if you gave us a mobile number; reply STOP to opt out), send the newsletter you signed up for, prepare for calls you book, deliver and bill for services you buy, keep the site secure, and understand what to improve.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own advertising.

When you use The Simmons Take, what you type is sent to Anthropic, an AI provider, so it can write your read. When you book a call, your booking answers may also be sent to Anthropic so we can prepare for the conversation.

Please don't include names or contact details of your customers or employees, health or patient information, passwords, payment details, or anything else confidential in these forms. General descriptions work just as well.

We use Google Analytics to measure visits, traffic sources and approximate location. We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors interact with pages (clicks, scrolling and mouse movement) to create heatmaps and session replays that show us where the site is confusing. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page views and loading speed.

Google and Microsoft use cookies and similar technologies for these services and process the data under their own privacy policies: how Google uses data and the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Our Google review check page (/audit) uses the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, when someone visits that page, finishes a check, asks for their list or starts checkout, so we can measure our ads and show them to business owners likely to find them useful. Meta may use cookies and match this with information it already has, under its own Privacy Policy. We don't send Meta your email address or phone number. You can manage how Meta uses this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

To run the check, we look up the business name you type on Google Maps and read that listing's public reviews.

We use a small number of companies to run this site and our business. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Vercel: website hosting, analytics and speed monitoring
• Google: business email (Workspace), Google Analytics, and public Maps listings for the review check
• Meta: ad measurement on the review check page (Meta Pixel)
• Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings
• Anthropic: AI that writes The Simmons Take and call prep notes
• Resend: sending emails from this site
• Upstash: storing the newsletter list, review check requests and spam-prevention limits
• Cloudflare Turnstile: checking that form submissions come from a person
• Cal.com: scheduling calls
• Stripe: processing payments
• Blotato: automated replies to messages on our Instagram and Facebook accounts

If you message us on Instagram or Facebook, or visit our Etsy or Pinterest pages, those platforms also collect information under their own privacy policies.

If you join the newsletter, you can leave anytime with the unsubscribe link in any issue, or by replying "remove". We'll also send emails you trigger yourself, such as your Simmons Take read, your Google review list, booking details or a purchase confirmation.

We keep messages, review check requests and client records for as long as we're in touch or working together, and as long as needed for our records. We keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe, and purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Analytics data is kept according to each provider's retention settings.

When we build or run a system for a client, information about that client's own customers is handled under our written agreement with that client. This policy covers visitors to this site, not the customers of our clients.

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections, spam protection and limited access, to protect what you send us. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

This site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email logan@simmonssolutionsco.comand we'll delete it.

You can email logan@simmonssolutionsco.comto ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll respond within 30 days. Our business is based in Arizona, and the information described here is processed in the United States.

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
